How about one on Greg Maddux?

I’d like to see Andrew Miller. Do you think he was pushed to the majors too fast?

by David on Apr 7, 2008 3:57 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Congrats on the site kyle. Would love to see a hitting profile on Alex Gordon and a pitching profile on Joba Chamberlain (2 of my Huskers).

There’s a college pitcher tearing it up, I’d love to see you analyze if you have the capacity. Tyson Ross (California Golden Bears). I don’t know much about pitching mechanics, but to my eye, the guy has a crazy “sling-shot” looking delivery.

And I’d like to see Joba too. (Go Winnebago!)

I would love to see Clayton Kershaw.

I’d love to see an analysis on Joakim Soria. The guy doesn’t throw all that hard but gets K’s all the same. I’ve read that batter’s can’t really pick up his release point and that it looks like the ball is coming out of his sleeve. I’d be interested to see if his mechanics might explain this. Thanks, I love the Web site.

I would like to see Tom Glavine because I think he does some good things, but there are a couple of hitches that I don’t quite get. Also we are the same age and I am often compared to him (minus the hitches).

I’d love to see analysis of CC Sabathia, Francisco Liriano, and Dan Haren

I would love to see analysis of Adam Wainwright. As a Cardinals fan, I’m nervous that his extensive use of the curveball could lead to elbow problems as he pitches more and more innings as a starter.

I would like to see an analysis of Brian Bannister.

Would love to see two reviews of Pat Venditte’s delivery. He’s the switch-armed pitcher out of Creighton.

I’d like to see Francisco Rodriguez and Phil Hughes, if possible.

You do great work man.

I’m really enjoying your site. Thanks for the tremendous work.

Would it be possible to break down a left handed pitcher? Who – doesn’t really matter to me – Jon Lester I guess.

I’m just interested in left handed mechanics.

Thank you,

Brian

How about Jonathan Papelbon… I’m a Red Sox fan and I’m interested in his mechanics because of how dominate hes looked so far.

Rick Porcello- 19 yrs old mid-high 90’s fastball.

Definitely would love to see you cover BJ Ryan, given his injury.

Also, another poster suggested Phil Hughes, which I think is a fantastic idea.

And my final request/suggestion would be one of the many talented young pitchers in the minors. I’d stay away from Kershaw, and maybe cover someone with slightly less exposure but still very much on everyone’s radar: Rick Porcello.

There ya have it, my 3 suggestions:
1. BJ Ryan
2. Phil Hughes
3. Rick Porcello

I’d love to see you look at Dustin McGowan

Hello!

I have been a follower of pitching for some 25 years and spend as much time as possible scouting and analyzing pitchers – in paricular, young pitchers.

Over those years I have occasionally seen someone who stands out as a pitching prospect and I follow that individual, sometimes for years, as he (hopefully) establishes himself as a successful major league pitcher.

Last year I saw a young pitcher who impressed me about as much as any pitcher ever has.

Phillippe Aumont, now in the Mariners minor league system with Wisconsin (MWL) really dazzled me and I would very much like to read your take on his mechanics as they relate to his potential. Due to his experience level, he is still pretty raw, but there appears to be so much potential!

Thank you! (and thank you for providing us pitching junkies with so much enjoyable reading)

I would love to see analysis on Homer Bailey and Edinson Volquez.

I think two series would be fascinating:
1. Pitchers who have had very long careers (Maddux, Randy Johnson, Jamie Moyer, Roger Clemens, Nolan Ryan, etc. etc.)
2. Pitchers from different eras. I’ve seen Sandy Koufax here; it would also be fascinating to see an analysis of Bob Gibson, Walter Johnson, Lefty Grove, Carl Hubbel, Sandy Koufax (in full), and anyone else of note.

Justin Masterson really intrigues me with his unusual sidearm delivery. I am really curious what you think about him?

by Jackson on Jun 13, 2008 7:50 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

masterson and porcello would be awesome. also, david price and steven strasburg if possible
