Hey Kyle,
Is there any chance of you putting up the footage of Roger Clemens' pronated slider/curveball? It was on the previous site. Nobody believes me when I tell them about it.
EDIT: Check the comments for the image requested.

What am I missing here -- don't all pitchers pronate on all pitches?
Isn’t it part of a natural follow through?

They do.
But this is active pronation through release.

Not on sliders at all
You’re typically taught on a slider to “turn the door knob” through release (really it’s more going over the top of the ball than turning a door knob to get depth but we’ll ignore that) and basically apply pressure more with your middle finger. Clemens here already has his forearm supinated before release and is pronating it back, generating spin by applying force with his index finger. It’s almost exactly backwards of the way to throw a traditional slider.

sort of like pulling the right side of the ball down via pronation instead of pulling the top of the ball to the right via a twist?
