the general consensus
from us royals fans is that his pitch recognition vs lefties is the biggest thing holding him back. fastballs up and in take advantage of his less-than-quick hands, and the follow-up sliders/curves out of the zone get him swinging and missing.
fingers crossed that this improves with experience
