Quick Hit: Max Scherzer's Changeup
Since he's back in the big leagues, this is as good of a time as any to break out one of my favorite pitching animated images, and what I show my students when trying to teach them the merits of the changeup (high school and college kids are so enamored with breaking balls):

…I teach them a circle changeup or (ideally) the Maxline Fastball Sinker, which is what I throw.

Excellent
I love circle changeups. Pitching is about disrupting hitting timing and the changeup does that perfectly.
